Who We Are
Alignment Therapy hosts an ever-growing team of trauma-informed, heart-centered therapists dedicated to creating meaningful, healing relationships with our clients. At Alignment Therapy, we bring together deep clinical expertise with genuine compassion, cultural humility, and a commitment to nervous system-informed care.
We know that every person’s story is unique, and so is their path to healing. That’s why we show up as real people—curious, nonjudgmental, and present—ready to walk alongside you through the messy, courageous, and transformative work of therapy. We proudly serve individuals who reside in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
At Alignment Therapy, our passionate lies in helping people move beyond survival—toward healing, progress, and a life they actually enjoy. We believe everyone deserves to feel in control of their body, emotionally grounded, and mentally well. Therapy is where we make that possible, together.
Transforming mental healthcare
At Alignment Therapy, we believe true healing happens when the mind, body, and emotions are addressed as a whole. Our virtual trauma therapy services integrate Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a multicultural lens to help you process past experiences, regulate your nervous system, and develop practical tools for lasting well-being. We provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your healing journey at your own pace, free from judgment. Whether you're navigating symptoms of trauma, anxiety, PTSD, or emotional distress, our evidence-based approach is designed to help you realign with your inner strength and move forward with resilience. Healing starts here.

Why Choose Virtual Therapy Over In-Person Sessions?
Virtual therapy offers the same professional support as in-person sessions—with added convenience, flexibility, and comfort. Whether you’re navigating trauma, ADHD, anxiety, or depression, online therapy provides a safe, effective way to heal on your terms. Here’s why it might be the perfect fit for you:
Therapy Without the Commute – No traffic, no waiting rooms—just access to support wherever you are.
Comfort of Your Own Space – Feel at ease in your familiar environment, whether that’s your couch, office, or a quiet outdoor spot.
Flexible Scheduling – More appointment options to fit your busy life.
Increased Privacy – No worries about running into someone at a therapy office.
Accessible Anywhere – Get expert care even if you live in a rural area or travel often.
Great for Anxiety & Sensory Sensitivities – No overwhelming office settings—just you, your therapist, and a safe space to heal.
Equally Effective – Studies show virtual therapy is just as beneficial as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns.
Your healing, your way. Virtual therapy makes it easier than ever to prioritize your mental health—without disrupting your daily life. Ready to see if it’s right for you? Let’s get started.
Insurance and Payment Info
At Alignment Therapy, we are out-of-network with insurance providers, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide a superbill after each session—a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.
For convenient and secure online payments, we accept all major credit and debit cards so you can focus on your healing without added stress. If you have questions about using a superbill or understanding your benefits, we’re happy to help guide you through the process!
